NY UNION — Union Board advanced capital projects while addressing resident concerns. Supervisor Robert Mack's Town Board unanimously awarded Upstate Generator & Power, LLC a $14,722 annual maintenance contract after reviewing three competitive bids and approved $7,900 in fencing replacement at Choconut Dog Park with Southern Tier Fence Co. The board also unanimously approved a development agreement with SSS + Shah LLC for improvements to 2700 North Street.
Budget transfers of $8,500 were approved, including $600 between recreation accounts and $7,900 from chemicals to building and grounds maintenance, while residents raised concerns about utility poles, signage needs, air quality, and water issues near Jellystone Park Campground.
