Town board adopts four local laws

NY UNION — The Town Board unanimously adopted four local laws on May 6, including regulations governing timber management, temporary portable structures, residential property maintenance, and unsafe buildings. The board also approved approximately $405,000 in capital equipment expenditures, including a $368,694.52 water tanker for Public Works and four truck lifts for $36,267.20, both from the 2026 capital budget. The board scheduled a public informational hearing for June 3 regarding a Springbrook Developmental Services proposal to operate a group home at 315 Norton Avenue in Endwell.
