NY UNION — Union Town Board appoints new Comptroller, authorizes infrastructure spending. Heidi Ranger assumes the Town Comptroller position at $90,000 annually beginning February 21, replacing Jennifer Lindsay who resigned and will remain through June providing transition training at $55 per hour. The board authorized receipt of bids due March 17 for underdrain installation and curb-and-gutter replacement; approved an additional $4,285.52 for water tanker purchase, raising the total to $368,694.52; and scheduled March 18 public hearing to consider amendments to the town's Unsafe Buildings ordinance.
