NY UNION — Union Board approves $181,582 playground equipment, holds park policy hearings. Supervisor Robert Mack and the Town Board voted unanimously to purchase playground equipment through Denzak Recreation for $181,582.17 under a Sourcewell contract. The Board held public hearings on proposed e-bike restrictions limiting use to paved areas for riders age 16 and older, and a new dog-park policy allowing on-leash dogs in all parks except West Endicott Park.

Residents raised concerns about bike safety and enforcement of cleanup rules. No votes on the amendments were recorded. The Board also approved $12,800 for roof replacement at Glendale Park Maintenance Building.
