Union Board approves infrastructure projects totaling $1.1 million

NY UNION — Union Town Board approves $1.1 million in capital construction and engineering projects. The board unanimously awarded contracts for curb and gutter/sidewalk replacement to Tre-Gen Concrete Corp ($651,716), underdrain installations to R.B Magliocca Construction ($72,502), and a recycling truck chassis to G-S Products ($284,584). Barton & Loguidice was authorized to provide engineering and design services for the Hooper Road/Pruyne Street Signal Replacement Project for up to $182,000.
The board also scheduled public hearings for May 20 on the proposed dissolution of the Choconut Water District and May 6 on proposed residency requirements for the Town Attorney.
