Union Planning Board approves three commercial applications with conditions

NY UNION — Union Planning Board clears path for propane expansion and two new businesses. The board unanimously approved an Aquifer Permit for Amerigas Propane to add two automated LPG cylinder exchangers at 798 Main Street, raising storage to 2,720 pounds with fire-code compliance and protective barriers required. Shakikul Islam received a Special Use Permit for online automobile sales at 2320 Lewis Street, Suite F, with one employee and two parking spaces.

Mili's Nail Salon and Spa at 50 Avenue B North was approved, limited to one personal service station with fire inspections required. The board reaffirmed the Broome County IDA as lead agency for the contaminated 600 Main Street redevelopment site.
