Union Town Board approves 2026 organization and appointments

NY UNION — Union Town Board organizes for 2026 with unanimous vote. The board adopted a comprehensive resolution establishing meeting dates, procedures, and administrative structure for the year. Supervisor Robert Mack appointed Councilman Thomas R.

Augostini as Deputy Supervisor and confirmed appointments of key department heads including Commissioner of Public Works Louis V. Caforio, Comptroller Jennifer Lindsay, Planning Director Christopher Kylor, and Town Attorney Alan J. Pope.

The board reappointed members to eight boards and commissions, including Planning Board Chairman Mark Jaros and Zoning Board of Appeals Chairman Mark Woodruff, and authorized the Supervisor to invest town funds and make purchases through state and county contracts.
